Chain snatching reported in Hudkeshwar
Nagpur: A 36-year-old woman was relieved of gold chain worth Rs 15,000 by two bike-borne miscreants near Rodkar layout garden on Sunday night. The complainant, Minakshi Siddharth Patil, a resident of Nilgagan Developers, Nilvan Flat No. 101, A wing was returning home, after attending a birthday party, when the incident occurred under Hudkeshwar police.
According to police sources, Minakshi was crossing Rodkar layout garden at around 10.45 pm when two miscreants in their early twenties approached her and snatched away her gold chain worth Rs 15,000. Though Minakshi raised an alarm however, the duo managed to zoom away from the spot.
Based on the complaint lodged by Minakshi, Hudkeshwar police have registered a case under Sections 392, 34 of the IPC and launched the probe into the matter.
