Middle aged woman slips, falls into well in Hudkeshwar, dies
Nagpur: In a tragic incident, a 55-year-old woman died here in Hudkeshwar area, after she slipped into a well at her home on Sunday evening. The deceased has been identified as Shobha Yogeshprasad Wajpaye, a resident of Maa Durgawati Layout, Narsala.
According to police sources, Shobha was engaged in household works near the well. At around 6.30 pm she reportedly lost balance due to a slippery floor and fell into the well.
Though, on hearing her cries for help, both her family members and neighbors rushed to help. However, the attempt to rescue her ended in vain.
Based on the complaint lodged by her spouse Yogeshprasad, Hudkeshwar police have registered a case of accidental death and probing further.
