Cash, jewellery stolen from house in Kalamna
Nagpur: Gold ornaments and cash collectivelly worth Rs 1.22 lakh were stolen from a house in Kalamna police station area.
According to police, the theft took place between Friday and Saturday. Husband of complainant Lighat Fatima Sattar Khan Patel (47), a resident of Plot No. 393, Samalochan Ekta Housing Society, was hospitalised due to bad health.
An unidentified thief entered the house after breaking open latch of front door and walked away with gold ornaments kept in an almirah.
The theft came to light on Sunday at 10 am. Kalamna police have registered the case under Sections 454, 457 and 380 of Indian Penal Code. Further investigation is on.
